vw camper love

It's that time of year, we are back in camper land! I can't wait to get out in Edie (bought last summer), i've done quite a bit of work on personalising her interior to my style..... which i'll be sharing once finished.

No i'm not getting married and yes i know i'm now obsessed with vw campers. Understandably so. But if i was getting married i would want a white one as my wedding car - how cool!

Not the usual white wednesday but i'm still trying to name her....

.

Choices are.... STELLA (still), DARLA (buffy fans will get this) and EDIE (as in sedgwick)

.

I'm now leaning towards Edie, she feels like an Edie.... please someone decide for me!! Can you imagine what i'd be like naming a baby...

camper crazy

As promised, more pics of our beauty. I am almost decided on calling her Stella, but change my mind all the time. Maybe Freda. Maybe Emmy. Or maybe Stella.

These were taken while we went away - remember she is uncustomised still and needs my loving touch...

Since taking the photo above we have put on the original style 70's black number plates, which look soooo much better.

.

Also the pic above shows the (vile) blue seat covers inside and the pic below is just with a good old ikea throw covering them. Oh and the (equally VILE) curtains - they need to go. I am also changing the beech floor to walnut or parquet if i can find a vinyl version, and will probably change the cupboard handles too.... hmm what else....
