Guilty. I have been missing again but with good reason.... we had a last minute ski trip for a week in france (yay me!) and we all know what december/christmas is like (especially if you're like me and leave xmas shopping til the last minute...) so i have had NO TIME to think let alone turn on the pc!

I've missed blogging these last few weeks so much and will be back to normal after christmas. So skiing was fab and I am now well and truly addicted to vin chaud! Will post some snow pics during the next week and of course lots more beautiful inspiration pics.

It's beginning to feel a lot like christmas.....

And while i really should be out celebrating christmas eve in style i'm at home and wishing everyone a very happy christmas.

I have no time!! I don't even have time to post pics of my own tree but will do so in the next few days. Really want to wish everyone now a very very merry christmas!!! Thank you for all your comments and making this blog more than just my ramble :)

Have been a bit of a blogger slacker lately. I do believe real life has got in the way!! Maybe a combination of feeling like crap (yes - still) while trying to organize myself for christmas. My tree is up, um very wonky (how do you get the tree upright??) and i only put the decs on last night!

it's beginning to feel a lot like christmas

This year i've been really struggling to get christmassy- i just cannot get there, it really is almost as though i keep forgetting that it's christmas any day now! We'll be getting our real tree this week so i'm relying on that to sort me out.

Although i've had thoughts of a nice pretty little white artificial one somewhere in the house....

OH GOD it's hit me - i want a white christmas tree!! Still want my lush real green 6ft one though.... dilemma

snowstorm

There's nothing i love more than pretty things that are cheap. The christmas tree above looks a bit too time consuming for me but the handmade snowstorm below is SO COOL!! Enjoy the snow regardless of the weather!

Best bit is all i need is some dental floss and white stickers. This is so ridiculously simple but effective i have to make some, Sophie would love these in her bedroom, hell i would love these in my bedroom. Making them really is too easy to need any instructions but here they are at craftstylish

I can't believe it's December already, seriously... where have the months gone!!? This is when the Christmas countdown begins for me, i opened the second door of my malteser advent calendar today hee :)

Super simple handmade cards....

I really like the idea of handmaking my own christmas cards anyway and this year, due to my rather tight financial situation, i am going to start making some simple ones. Can't wait to start making them already and it'll also be a cool way of making them more personal :)
