pic via jennica at i'm just sayingI've been here before - i really want something VERY similar to this two tone retro cupboard above for my hall, but it's a very narrow space, maybe not even 1 metre wide. No room for a even a little sideboard.... so of course i'm having the usual trouble finding something suitable that i like and within budget. When don't i have this problem!!!! Is it just me? I have the same problem every single time!

I'm currently thinking of buying the shallow nyland shoe rack from Ikea (below) and painting the front white/staining the frame darker myself?? Might even have to shorten it to just 2 sections??

Thing is, as i'm typing this i'm wondering if it's too much faffing....? or it could just be an ikea hack....?
