mod livin mid century

For months i've been feeling forever jealous of all the fab mid century modern stores over in the US, we just don't seem to have that here in the UK (or if i'm missing something please let me know....!)

Until i came across this video which satisfied me for the time being.... anyone spot the cherner chair?? :)

so glad your blogging mojo is back. I've missed you and now I'm half way round the world with little access to internet. shall get a big fix whenever I can.

Tell me about it!

I'm still desperately wanting a bullet planter (like you can see in this video) but they don't seem to exist over here.

Charity shops only seem to have stuff from the 90s on and antique shops mostly Victorian/Edwardian.
eBay now seems to be full of people snapping things up to sell at a higher price in their own stores but even so there still isn't that much UK stuff on there.

Bring on Boot Sale season - the only time I seem able to find stuff at reasonable prices. But, alas, there's not as much cool mid mod stuff over here as there seems to be in America. sigh

I know exactly what you mean - there is a frustrating lack of mid century stuff in shops over here. I've never been lucky enough to spot any nice pieces the charity shops, only ever in over priced retro shops. Like the commenter abover said, bring on boot sale season :)

Nice! I'm in the U.S. and am jealous of many things in the UK! C'est la vie!
