What does one do with a tiny hall? It's actually very hard to find nice unique furniture that small! My hall is about a metre & a half long by under a metre wide with 3 (yes THREE) doorways off it. At the moment it's a nothing space and i need to make it into a something space... and so gorgeous small hall inspiration below....

How interesting that you should post about this today of all days... I have been dealing with the same dilemma for some time, trying out different variations over time, but nothing really satisfactory enough to be a permanent solution. Then I went fleamarket this morning and found something a bit like your top photo. I will post about it later :-)
I've also considered the four 'box' shelves idea, as I have those in black...
It is a tricky one isn't it, look forward to seeing your post - i know it'll inspire me. I've got a similar-ish slim vintage bookcase there at the moment but it has no legs so looks daft! I need to buy legs for it... :)
