That is so great! I love fantastic finds on eBay, especially when they work! I bought THE coolest retro red telephone on eBay, perfect condition...but something about the old wiring and my new apartment wiring just wouldn't work together, so I could make calls etc, but it wouldn't ring :( I was so heartbroken to send it back, and the seller said it worked again on their end, so I've been too scared to buy another one! Sigh!
I don't know how hard it is for you, but if you can find MCM Danish Modern Radio's you will like them. They have some of the coolest designs. Just a suggestion.
I love the old transistor radios. One can pick up radio stations all over the world. My fiance and I always take ours when we go camping.
What a beauty - and it works!
Had one just like it as a child - used to listen under the bedclothes. wouldn't hold the same magic now I'm allowed to use it.
