dilemma

This 60s/70s telephone table is on ebay ONLY 8 miles away from me, for £35. It's actually in the town where Lee's mum lives! But tricky - do it buy it?? I like it but admit i prefer others i've seen, so buying it just because its so close is wrong surely... i should only buy it if i love it...

I've had the same problem - I say, wait for something you really love instead.

You could always buy it and fix it up and see what happens? Don't want to live with the regret of the missed telephone table?

My opinion is: buy what you love, not based on location. Think of it this way - it's even more special if you not only love it but have to work a bit more to obtain it. It is cool though!

I agree with the others. If all you want to do is enjoy the furniture for the originality and art of it, wait for the one you want.

However, if you don't mind at least a little work. You could take a look at it and you could probably re-sale it later, after you found and bought the exact one you wanted
