I'm officially obsessed with circular stools that can double up as side tables. Obsessed! I want one as a side table for the sunroom/dining room, one as a stool for the hall and thinking maybe one as a bedside table for sophie's room which i can paint pink!

I completely love these retro ones below and ikea do a couple very similar - i would of course be hacking/customising the cheapy ikea ones.

I love this post! I am stool poor.:) Any yard sale or thrift shop that has a stool, gets my money. I was just thinking yesterday that I need to have a sale and get rid of some of mine. I'd like to add Kinetics stool to the list. Originally designed by a Canadian company. Now Haworth licenses them as the K700.
