Have been a bit of a blogger slacker lately. I do believe real life has got in the way!! Maybe a combination of feeling like crap (yes - still) while trying to organize myself for christmas. My tree is up, um very wonky (how do you get the tree upright??) and i only put the decs on last night!

Celebrating the 50th annivesary with this new line of miniature Arne Jacobson Egg Chair replicas from 1:6 design, i am strangely drawn to the patterned turquoise one below - not my usual colours but i adore it! There are other colours and designs available also. Although unless i'm going blind i cannot see how much these cost....

As Christmas RADIPLY approaches i will be expecting more house guests than normal which means extra pressure on me to get those last few itty bitty jobs finished. Christmas was kind of my own personal deadline to get housey stuff finished anyway. SO lots of lovely home inspiration this week to keep my vision razor sharp!!! Still feeling poorly too... pity please... ;)

Ok... so i know about 5 seconds ago i was blabbering about how i have no brain to blog with, but then i stopped by Jill Brownings blog and saw these super cool tissue boxes! They are actually just adapted by her husband from the normal kleenex box by adding her fab retro designs instead. When i get a husband i want him to do this for me! Seriously i LOVE her designs.

i can't believe my mince pies

I am sitting here slumped over my desk at work feeling sorry for myself, i've been flu-style poorly since Friday morning. I've finished all my work and sitting here i'm really aware of all the aches, sniffles and coughs even more than being at home!

My brain feels like cotton wool and i can't seem to pull anything remotely interesting together to blog about... to make matters worse we have a lovely batch of brandy mince pies in the office here and they are calling my name....

it's beginning to feel a lot like christmas

This year i've been really struggling to get christmassy- i just cannot get there, it really is almost as though i keep forgetting that it's christmas any day now! We'll be getting our real tree this week so i'm relying on that to sort me out.

Although i've had thoughts of a nice pretty little white artificial one somewhere in the house....

OH GOD it's hit me - i want a white christmas tree!! Still want my lush real green 6ft one though.... dilemma

knoll heaven

My excitement hit new levels when i came across a Knoll store in Paris!! I've admired these designs hundreds of times on the web but can honestly say i've never seen all this beauty together like this, it was too much - i wanted everything! Didn't look to see how much anything cost though as didn't want to ruin my illusion ;)
